Kenny & Chante' Lattimore | Uncovered and Covered

Is It Mr. & Mrs. Lattimore once again? Yes, and it is with something very special & unique from to offer to the masses!

This Husband/Wife duo presents to us both sides of the secular & gospel spectrum with a gracious 2 CD set: "Uncovered/Covered.” One CD examines "...the real meaning of love" while the other takes a good look at their complete appreciation of faith, marriage & family. Altogether, the duo combined both CD's for a total of 24 tracks of music!! Much more of a value than the cost! Moreover, ya'll they didn't disappoint.

"Uncovered" grabbed the groove control with some foot stomping tracks like "Tonight (2 Step)", which sounds like a sample of R. Kelly's previous hit "Step In The Name of Love" & "The Good Life". The remaining set carries overtones of romance, seduction, sensitivity, & adoration. They get together to conduct covers of "No Ordinary Love" & "Love Balla" as well. When it comes to covers though, they betta bring their A-game, & yep...they did!

"Covered" ventures into the realms of Urban/Contemporary Gospel with compositions correlating to their faith & well-being. In fact, Urban Gospel Supreme Fred Hammond penned & drum produced the majority of tracks on this CD, which should already tell you - There is no messin' around when Fred gets down in the Lab (studio production).

Heartfelt & well executed, I hope these 2 stick around to arrange more treats in the future & be remembered with legacy like Peaches & Herb, Ashford & Simpson, etc..etc..etc!
