Under the 2nd release from departing Destiny's Child for a solo career, Kelly plays & dabbles the urban R&B scene with "Ms. Kelly"; ....Like she owns it! Why not? Her stauts from over the years for singing behind R&B sensation Beyonc'e & fellow Gospellette Michelle Williams, creates the opportunity to be radiant & confident. Without a doubt, you will catch it in her voice.
Lets start with a duet she shared with the latest Urban R&B crooner - Tank: "The Show". When you expect 2 great, enigmatic vocalists to flow, watch out for this one! Staight up!; Ya'll already know about "Like This", the single feat Eve (Where have you been?); "Work" & "Ghetto" feat Snoop D-O-Double-G, reaches its perimeters in groove & ultimate beats...
However, you all may come to dig & appreciate the vocality Kelly expresses in her slow cuts. Its the many reasons why she should be recognized in the first place. Not for singing alongside her 2 Girlfriends on stage, but to take her seriously as a bonafide artist who CAN hang with the best of them!
She should shoot for the stars & bring another project down the road....A starlet like her should keep the turntables turnin'...if you know what I mean...
