Vanessa Bell Armstrong - Walking Miracle

Vanessa Bell Armstrong presents a well produced token of urban gospel faith. This CD is very good & should be examined.

Producers Rodney Jerkins, J Moss, Paul "PDA" Allen, Gospel crooner Smokie Norful, & Fred "Uncle Freddie" Jerkins lends a generous support to the R&B flavored tracks - both with standpoints pointing to mid grooved tracks & slow praise worshipped melodies. Its instrumentally soundproofed from the studio musicians contributions. Much expected when listening to urban gospel at its finest!

However, what will be excepted is hearing the tender voiced Ms. Armstrong relate to each composition.

Track Listing:
-- Walking Miracle
-- Seasons
-- So Good To Me
-- Wait
-- Fall In Love Again
-- Watch Me
-- Til The Victory's Won
-- Just Hold On
-- It's Over Now
-- I Just Love You

"I Just Love You" sends me back to many tracks J Moss presented from his previous release, since he does have his hand on this one! Ms. Armstrong raises the bar of praise worship on the track & definitely sends her powerful voice to the skies!!; "Walking Miracle" opens up with Rodney spaking the intro - Then Ms. Armstrong takes it from there! "Seasons", Again J Moss, along with Paul D. Allen comes thru with another delivery of urban R&B laced gosepl hymns.  "So Good To Me" reminds the listener of the staple, the trademark of traditonal gospel Ms. Armstrong is very good for! A nice track written by Smokie Norful & Tim Bailey.

My Favorite track has to be "Fall In Love Again"! The opening melody & groove grabbed by ear & the rest was history!

Straight from EMI Gospel this year, This album is refreshing & encouraging to say the least. The one thing that sticks out throughout the entire album is how graceful Ms. Armstrong pulls off her ability to flow on both sides of the gospel spectrum - Urban AND Tradional. It was felt here from my review!

Stay Cool...
