Brian is joined by an all-star cast of guest players including Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham, Gerald Albright, Ronnie Laws plus vocals by Ledisi, Musiq Soulchild and many others. I must warn this is an album that is very difficult to listen straight through cause you find yourself continuing to hit the repeat button after each track. Please put 'purchasing this album' on the top of your to-do list. I assure that you won't be disappointed. I give Brian an A+ for Bringing Back The Funk..........

hot album, love the brass section; makes me want to get up and dance.Although, player don't dance but we do party.
